Mercer Island Wolf Appliance Repair is an independent repair company. We do not cover the whole of King County and we do not fix everything in the kitchen — the narrowness is the point.
Why the service area is so small
Most repair companies quote a two-county radius and then give you a twelve-hour arrival window, because that is the only honest thing you can promise when the van might be in Renton at nine and Shoreline at noon. Covering one island removes that problem. The whole route is four neighbourhoods across roughly six square miles, so a window can be two hours and a return visit for an ordered part can be days rather than weeks.
Why only Wolf
Wolf platforms have their own failure patterns, their own error codes and their own parts logic — a control board or a burner valve is specific to a model and serial, not interchangeable across the range. Working on one manufacturer means the diagnosis is quick because we have seen the fault before, and it means the van carries the parts that actually fail rather than a shelf of near-misses.
What we will not do
- Quote a repair over the phone. A symptom narrows the fault; it does not identify it.
- Replace an assembly when one component inside it is at fault, unless the component is genuinely unavailable separately.
- Take on a warranty repair that Wolf should be doing for you at no cost. If your unit is in warranty we will say so and tell you to call them.
- Recommend a replacement appliance. We do not sell them, so it is not our call to make.
What the visit costs
Flat $89 service call covering the visit and full diagnosis, credited against the repair once you approve it.
The repair itself falls into six bands, each one a range rather than a single number, and each one printed in full on the service page it belongs to. Parts and labour are quoted in writing before anything is ordered and the number does not move afterwards.
When we work, and when the phone is answered
The van is on the island 8:00 am – 8:00 pm, seven days, and that is when a visit can actually happen. The phone itself is answered 24/7, so a three-in-the-morning failure gets a person rather than a voicemail — but the slot they book you will still fall inside the working hours above.
